Everyones Involved

One thing i have learned through this class is that almost everyone we see in the media is a politician in one way or another. If someone is standing for something they believe in this is politics to a definition. In the acts that have taken place in Ferguson, Mo, everyone is involved with the politics of the situation. Everyone wants to be heard and everyone wants to make a difference.

We have seen protestors and people rioting and changing lives for people that just want to get passed this. We have even seen Professional Athletes make statements disgraced by the actions of people of their race. They were embarrassed and wanted people to be aware that not all individuals of that race felt that way and deserved the judgement and repercussions that were awaiting.

Meanwhile in St. Loius on Sunday, 5 Rams players made a spectacle of themselves on the field prior to a football game where they five individuals raised their hands in a don't shoot position as Michael brown is said to have done. This again is another form of protesting. The players are becoming under much consideration and it appears punishments will await them. Its crazy that even role models for children can act in such defiance.

  1. I like this blog. I hate how people can be so closed minded and do not see the facts for the apparent truth. Only God and those two people know what happened that day. But instead of making it about one thing...they are better off making an awareness and figuring out way to move forward. What they are doing is moving backwards creating more hate.
